Employees State Insurance Corporation Medical College and Hospital (ESIC MCH), Sanathnagar, Hyderabad was established in the year 2016   under Ministry of Labour and Employment and affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, Telangana. It is in the centre of Hyderabad and spread over a sprawling campus of 31.2 acres, catering to 72 lakh IP Population. It is an 800 Bedded hospital with additional 88 ICU beds & 14 Modular OTs. Furthermore, the Super Specialty Hospital is a 244 bedded Hospital furnished with 44 ICU beds, 45 Dialysis Beds, and 4 advanced operating theatres specifically tailored to meet the specialized needs of super specialty procedures.

 ESIC Medical college & Hospital, Hyderabad is one among the very few institutions in the country which is providing teaching from undergraduate to super speciality & broad specialties, conducting research and offering specialty care of high order with strategic collaborations with well renowned institutes such as IIT, Hyderabad, NIPER, ECIL, DRDO, etc.

The institute has an uptake of 125 MBBS students every year and 83 postgraduate seats in broad specialities and 29 seats in MCH/DM/DrNB/ fellowships in super speciality. In academic year AY 2023-24, we are the first medical college to start post graduate course in physical and medical rehabilitation, family medicine and transfusion medicine in the state.

And in the academic year 2024-25 we have started Associate fellow of Industrial Health (AFIH) course with 25 seats uptake.  AFIH course is offered by Directorate General of Factory advice service and Labour Institutes. ESIC Medical College is the first proud institute to start this course in Telangana. We are also privileged to be nominated for regional centre and coordinator for National Medical Council NAP-AMR cell in Telangana state.
